Hide sold investments

Hi Mark, somehow cannot to hide the sold issues that own 0 shares,I tried the File/file operations/hide sold investments.
On the window showing dates have modified all possible combinations going as far as 3/4 years ago to present and yet continue to display a long list of investments not longer relevant.
Always get the little message telling me (hid 0 investments)
What should I do?
