: Hi Mark, somehow cannot to hide the sold issues that own 0 shares,I tried the File/file operations/hide sold investments.
: On the window showing dates have modified all possible combinations going as far as 3/4 years ago to present and yet continue to display a long list of investments not longer relevant.
: Always get the little message telling me (hid 0 investments)
: What should I do?
: thanks

Hi David,

In the "File / File Operations / Hide Sold Investments..." dialog, there are 2 dates you need to enter. Only investments that have 0 shares every day between those 2 dates will be hidden. So, if you want to hide everything that you don't own as of today, enter today's date in both of those date controls. If you enter a date range of the last year, only investments that had a share balance of 0 every day over the last year will be hidden.

Also, you must make sure that your investments have exactly 0 shares for them to be hidden with this dialog. If you own 0.0001 shares, this isn't considered 0. You can use the Data Register or create a report to look at your share balance out to 6 significant digits. See "Options / Preferences / Display / Share Digits".

Thanks,
Mark
