Thanks, I think I finally get it! :) I can see how if you have a single investment that has transactions in multiple currencies, there is no great solution. I wasn't aware this was very common. I'll have to give it some thought on how best to handle this, it isn't immediately obvious to me.

The suggestion on using multiple investments was only if you had the same security in different accounts, where each account was traded in a different (but consistent) currency.
