Is it because the default data fields are associated with stocks: "Open, High, Low, Close," whereas options data have "Last Trade, Open, Bid, Ask," etc. in the data fields? I'm just taking a shot here. Can you provide a solution to this? : : Thank you. I really need to be able to download options prices. : : KC : Hi KC, : Did you do both the ".X" and "."? The symbol should just be how it is shown on the quote server you're retrieving from. Can you give me an example that isn't working? For example, try this one: : Symbol: NQGD.X : This is: INTC Jul 2006 20.0000 call. I just did a test retrieve, and Fund Manager properly retrieved the price of 0.15 for today. : Thanks, Hi, Mark, Thank you for your patience. I think I did things right. ".X" is for the Yahoo (Historical) server, and "." is for the PCQuote server. These two servers just don't offer options data for download, I guess. But the plain Yahoo server that you suggested does work! I was able to download today's price for the INTC call. By the way, how do I update current day's quotes only? When I use the Yahoo Historical server, I can't just download today's prices. I've got to download historical prices all over again everyday. Otherwise, the whole history is gone. I must not be doing things right, since for some reason, FM doesn't seem to save historical prices. Help appreciated.
