: Hi, Mark,

: Thank you for your patience.

: I think I did things right. ".X" is for the Yahoo (Historical) server, and "." is for the PCQuote server. These two servers just don't offer options data for download, I guess. But the plain Yahoo server that you suggested does work! I was able to download today's price for the INTC call.

: By the way, how do I update current day's quotes only? When I use the Yahoo Historical server, I can't just download today's prices. I've got to download historical prices all over again everyday. Otherwise, the whole history is gone. I must not be doing things right, since for some reason, FM doesn't seem to save historical prices. Help appreciated.

Hi KC,

The "Yahoo" server is for current quotes, and should be used to get the current day's quote. The "Yahoo (Historical)" server gets past pricing data, and sometimes doesn't have the current day's quotes.

If you retrieve historical quotes for your investments that pricing should be saved when you save your investments. I would use the "Data Register" with the "Prices" data type to verify what pricing data you have in each investment. How are you seeing that the whole price history is gone? That shouldn't happen, unless the prices never got downloaded, or you exit without saving.

Thanks,
Mark
