: In setting up assets for foreign currency comparisons, USD to AUD, I see no difference when running the "exchange rate adjusted" reports. What am I doing wrong?

: I first set up AUD->USD investment using the symbol "USDAUD = X", added the current exchange rate in the description line and included in portfolio as an asset (or should this be in a separate portfolio named "exchange rates"?). Then, setting up a new investment using, from the drop down menu currency symbol choices, the 2nd $ (assume 1st $ is US & 2nd $ AUD or does it matter?)

: Thank you.

Hi Chris,

After creating this investment, you must "assign" it to a particular currency under "Options / Currency Settings...". For a tutorial on setting this up, please see:

Currency Tutorial

Thanks,
Mark
