For example, next to the Default Cash Account scrolling area, there is a 'Show All'checkbox. What does this box do? : Also, concerning Default Cash Accounts, one of the problems I'm facing is that one of my client's accounts was initially placed with Broker A, which was ultimately moved to Broker B (TD Ameritrade. Given the account was transferred mid-year, can you suggest the cleanest way to edit the money market transactions of this account in a manner that I may still make use of OFX?
Yes, you are right about the subsequent modifications to this dialog. The "Show All" button next to the "Default Cash Account" choice controls whether all investments from all sub-portfolios are listed, or only those within that sub-portfolio. It is allowed for you to choose an investment from outside a particular sub-portfolio for the default cash account. This is probably rather rare, but it is an option. Also, all dialog boxes have a "Help" button which will bring up the description of any controls in that dialog. On your transferred account... You could get it all updated to the date it was transferred, and then just change the name/account number on that date, and start tracking it going forward from then with the new account number. Thanks,
