: : : : Is it possible to set up the parameters so that the chart displays the yield for each individual investment?

: : : Hi Harry,

: : : We don't have a graph type called "Portflio Performance"? Are you looking at one of the other portfolio based graph types, or are you looking at the Portfolio Performance report?

: : : You cannot display the individual investment yields on any of the portfolio based graphs. The portfolio based graphs are all the graph types listed above the first separator under the "Graphs" menu.

: : : Thanks,

: : Aw nuts, I meant Portfolio Performance report. My frustration is that the Beg Value column always shows zeros, and Yield always shows NA. Digging through Tutorials and Help has not helped. Thanks

: Hi Harry,

: This is a common point of confusion. In the reports, anytime there is a "Beginning Value" this means the value at the start of the day on the beginning report date. In other words, this is the same as the value as of the close on the prior day. Any purchases made on the beginning report date won't show up in the beginning value, since they happened during that day (after the start of the day). If you change your report starting date one day later you'll probably see the values you're expecting.

: Thanks,

Hi Mark- that makes sense for investments bought on one date but my report has a number of investments, bought at different times. Thus a specific starting date should be used for each investment, and there is no provision in FM for that.
Similar issue with Yield. I can get the Yield % to show for a particular investment by fiddling with the closing date of the report, but I really want to see it for ALL investments. Surely the report is not meant to show data for just a single date(s)?
