: hello. the column "Distribution" in the "Portfolio Performance" Report doesn't seem to record distributions made to me (i.e., interest and dividends).

: for example:
: 1. I buy fixed income instrument
: 2. i record the interest payment (all distributions, interest, etc...)
: 3. it reflect this payment on the portfolio and on the investment.
: 4. when i use the port performance report function for a date range, the distribution column remains blank, and the interest payment is tallied on the GAIN column.

: * also, is it possible to see a report only with realized gains and losses for a specific date range.

: Thanks again Mark.

Hi Steve,

The "Distrib." column in this report only displays "distributed" distributions. If the distribution was reinvested, it won't be included in this column, because it will be reflected in the end value instead. This report is trying to show what you started with, how much you put in, how much you took out, and what you ended up with, along with the gain. It sounds like you recorded these interest payments as reinvested?

Thanks,
Mark
