: : : : Thank you, Mark. I did have "Show all" marked on the properties of FDRXX for Y. I removed it and retrieved transactions into the right account.

: : : : However, I do not get the distributions (monthly interest) reinvested in the cash account. I'm sure I am missing some flag somewhere, but I haven't found it. Sorry for the stupid question.

: : : Hi Tom,

: : : How do your interest distributions show up? Do they show up as both a distributed interest and a buy? It may be that these are being reported as distributed, instead of reinvested by your broker. In that case, you may need to record the corresponding purchase manually, or edit the distribution transaction, and change it to "Reinvested".

: : : Thanks,

: : : Thanks, Mark, your comment was the basic point. As I dug into how interest on core accounts is reported in various accounts I found it is a real can of worms - much more than I care to know.

I have the same situation as Tom with 2 Fidelity accounts using the FDRXX money market as the cash account. So your answers to him were right on target for me also.
However I seem to have another problem with getting positions for the FDRXX money market investments. When I 'retrieve transactions' all the transactions are shown correctly. But when I try to reconcile/retrieve from broker, the shares for FDRXX under 'Statement' is always 0. The other investments retrieved during the reconcile have the 'Statement' shares shown correctly.
I am not using the FDRXX as the default cash account in either sub-portfolio.
Any suggestions how I might resolve this?
