Report Preferences - Other Dialog

This dialog is available from the Options / Report Preferences... menu command under any Report window.

The following options are available:

Portfolios:

Portfolios Store and Recall Reports

When this option is on, portfolios will store which reports, along with all their settings, are open. These reports will be recreated whenever you open this portfolio. The report's window size/position is also memorized and restored.

Float End Date

When this option is on the ending report date for reports created by an opening portfolio will be automatically adjusted.  To control what date the end date floats to, see the "Memorized Report End Date Floats To:" option below.  By default, floating end dates will go to the current date.

Start Date Relative to End

When this option is on the starting report date for reports created by an opening portfolio will be adjusted to be the same distance from the ending report date as when it was saved. For example, you may set the start date to be 180 days behind the ending date, such that whenever you open your portfolio the start date will always start off 180 days behind the end date, even if the end date is floating to a new date.

Memorized Reports End Date Floats To:

Controls how the "Float End Date" option works for both portfolio recalled reports and memorized reports.  The following options are available:

Current Date: The current date as set on your computer

Date of Latest Price: The date of your last recorded price on or before the current date

Latest Weekday: The most recent weekday on or before the current date

Yesterday: The day prior to the current date

Memorized Reports Recall Using Sub-Portfolio:

Controls which sub-portfolio is used when recalling a memorized report.  The following options are available:

Currently Selected: The currently active sub-portfolio in the foreground window.  If you recall a memorized report from the Portfolio Editor window, this is the selected sub-portfolio.  If you're in a report window, it is the sub-portfolio being reported on in that report.  If you're in a graph window, it is the active sub-portfolio for that graph.

Same as Memorized: The same sub-portfolio that was being used in the report when that memorized report was saved
