Mark, The firewall is Dell Security Center by McAfee which came with the computer. I disabled all firewall components and rebooted but to no avail. Everything was ok until I did the Microsoft update which applied several security related patches. I found the following fix on the MS site. I did apply the 328310 update along with several others before the problem started. From the fix described below, is it possible that could be the problem?
