: Mark, : Tried to use transaction retrieval and received signon invalid. How can I contact you about the specifics without using the message board. : Thanks Hi Gary,
You can fill out the contact form here: http://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/contact.html Please don't send any account or password information though... Here are some generic instructions on getting your account set up and working: You will need to have an online account set up with your broker/fund company. Some broker/fund companies actually have a separate account for this service. It may be called Direct Download or Web Connect. It is the same feature used by Quicken and Microsoft Money to download transactions. Once you get signed up with your broker/fund company you should receive an ID/password. You can then set up a sub-portfolio for this broker/fund company, and assign this ID/password to the sub-portfolio properties. To do this, just open up the new "Portfolio Editor" with "View / Portfolio Editor...". Right click on any portfolio, and choose the option to create a new sub-portfolio from the popup menu. On the "Portfolio Properties" dialog there will be a "Transaction Retrieve Settings..." button. This is where you assign which broker, the user ID, password, and account number for this portfolio. Then, just do an internet retrieve of your transactions. "Edit / Internet Retrieve / Transactions..." will do the retrieve, or you can press the button on the toolbar. Feel free to reply to this post or use the contact form link above if you have any other questions.
