Seems like an error

On my portfolio gain graph my portfolio shows a slight loss from 1/1/05 through 2/10/05. When I switch to the portfolio overlay graph, price + distribution, from 12/31/04 through 2/10/05 I find my portfolio ending at 100.02. Why does one graph show a loss and the other graph reports a gain?
