: i tried expanding the dialogue box, though the names aren't long. i press ctrl and click on a name. but, any name i hover over gets highlighted and added as well.

: or i try keeping my finger on ctrl (which is annoying to have to do), find one stock, select it, find another stock, select it, and it replaces the one already selected.

: i tried switching to detail view. selecting investments works correctly in this view but the view switches back to list for the next time. it doesn't stay on detail view. also, of course, it takes longer to look through the investments

: would it be possible to get list view to work as well as detail view?

: also, i am now noticing that the 'open portfolio' view doesn't maintain settings either. i resize it, but it is back to original size the next time i open fund manager.

Hi Jeffrey,

All of the "views" should work equally well... Here's some specifics on how it should work:

1) Select your first investment by just left mouse clicking once on it.
2) When you find the next investment you also want to add, hold down the "Ctrl" key and left mouse click on the second investment. This should add the second investment to your selection.
3) Repeat #2 until you have selected all the investments you want. To unselect one, just click on that one again, while holding down "Ctrl".

Fund Manager utilizes the standard "Open" dialogs from Windows. The benefit here is that they should work the same in a variety of applications that all use these same standard dialogs. The initial view is set in Windows, as well as the initial dialog size, so this isn't easily adjusted by Fund Manager.

Thanks,
Mark
