Sorry to bother you..but I'm stuck. I am migrating from win2K to XP by building a new xp disk and then migrating my applications & data (one by one) to the XP disk to assure they work properly and I have latest drivers, etc....
I loaded & licensed FM on the new XP disk OK - no problems.
I copied all files from my_data folder on the win2K disk to my_data on the XP disk, but FM on the XP disk will not recognize the copied FM files.
I recall the last time I upgraded a system I had to go into DOS and correct all the FM file attributes on the FM files that I copied to the "new" my_data folder. Once the file attributes were set properly (on the new target folder), then all worked OK.
I just can't remember what I did back then :(
I'm sure you will know how to properly copy all the files from one disk to another and get me going. Thanks
