: : Hi I have several foreign-cash-accounts and I have adjusted the curreny-settings correctly and the "Exchange Rate adjusted" is also set. But my foreign-cash-accounts (for example USD computed in CHF) will not be updated with the newest Exchange Rates (which are daily updated) , it remains on the same level as I did the exchange. I have no stocks in foreign currency so i dont know if there would be the same problem

: : thanks for the answer and the program!

: Hi Sam,

: Are these foreign cash accounts assigned as your exchange rate investments under "Options / Currency Settings..."? If so, that would cause this problem. Exchange rate investments assigned there will not be adjusted, as they are only used for converting from one currency to another, and shouldn't have a value (no shares owned). You may have already seen this, but here is some documentation on the currency settings:

: Thanks,

Hi Mark

No, for every currency I have created an investment which is updated daily and correctly with the newest exchange rates and these investments are assigned to convert from one currency to another under "Options / Currency Settings...". This is the only purpose for these investment. My cash accounts are now counted in foreign currencies, which I defined in "Options / Currency Settings...". If I do an exchange everything works correctly 10000 USD are computed as 12700 CHF but it remains on this level. If the exchange rate (eg CHF/USD from 1.27 to 1.29) changes the 10000 USD are still computed as 12700 CHF.
