: Hi David,

: What are you referring to as the "Master screen"?

Thank you Mark for your response, actually that is the screen I get when I open My Portfolio,MM4, has the Master Portfolio with the red mark on the left and all the Investments on the right with current holdings, prices, total shares etc.
That includes currently all of my holdings without distiction between my different accounts.
I want to now assign those Investments into different Subportfolios, each one with different names.
As I proceeded, Created a new Portfolio by Save As "My Portfolio_1" and then created all the subportfolios I wanted.
Lets take SBUX 100 shares and copy/paste or move into Subportfolio #1.
if I moved it by click/dragg, will not longer show on what I call the Master Portfolio screen on the right as all shares are now on the Sub#1.
If I used the copy/paste option then will have increased the total shares by 100 on My Portfolio_1.
Again tried the tutorial but I am missing something.
Sorry
David
