: I had thought about that so I double-checked. Here are the figures for DJIA:

: Newspaper:
: "YTD % Chg" +2.65%
: "12-mo % Chg" +6.20%
: FM:
: Date range "Year to date", gph = 10.01%
: Date range "Last 12 Months", 1y = gph = 7.83%

: I also checked my data against finance.yahoo.com and it matches.

Hi David,

What yield type are you calculating above the graphs? See "Options / Yields". If you are calculating ROI, do you have any transactions recorded in the yield term?

You can also check to see if your yields are being annualized or not. For the 'gph' yield if it is for about 8 months, and you are annualizing it, it will be higher than just the 8 month non-annualized yield. See "Options / Preferences / Yields".

If this doesn't explain it, maybe you can email me your investment file, along with the ending graph date you're looking at. I can take a closer look.

Thanks,
Mark
