The 12002 error is a timeout. For some reason, after installing IE7, these timeouts seem to happen more often. I'm not sure why. I would guess that even if you turn back on your firewall, it may still work, but intermittently, depending on how busy the server is. : Thanks, Have IE 7.0.5730.11IS installed but use Firefox 2.0. I also tried turning off my firewall, ZoneAlarm Pro 6.5.737.000. Same result of no data and the error -- "WinInet error code 12002 – The operation timed out”. Beside I would hate to turn off my firewall on a regular basis just to download date!!! Any ideas? Thanks.
