Cash Flow Style: |
Displays the cash flow using the specified fields in the Portfolio Activity
Section of the report. (See
External Cash Flow.) The
beginning value, gain/loss, and ending value will always be the same no
matter which cash flow style is used: Gain/Loss = End_Value + Distrib. - Beg_Value - Invested Gain/Loss = End_Value + Withdrawals + With-Dist. - Beg_Value - Contributions Gain/Loss = End_Value + Withdrawals + With-Dist. - Beg_Value - Contributions - Fees
Withdrawals and With-Dist. may vary between the case where Fees are displayed, and when they are not displayed. When Fees are displayed: 1) Account fees recorded as "Reinvested" (or distributed with a corresponding sell in the default cash account) will add to "Withdrawals" and "Fees" in equal amounts. 2) Account fees recorded as distributed with no corresponding sell in the cash account (they sent in a check for the fees) will be pulled out of the With-Dist field, and put into the Fees field.

Include Accrued Interest |
Any accrued interest is included in
the display of the Portfolio Activity Summary section. Accrued
interest as of the beginning date is added into the displayed beginning
value. Accrued interest as of the ending date is added into the ending
value. Gain is adjusted by the difference of these accrued interest
amounts. (By default, accrued interest is included in the yield calculations shown in the Performance Summary sections. Whether or not to include accrued interest in yield calculations can be controlled in the General Preferences - Yield Dialog.)
