: : : : Hi Bob,

: : : : This does sound like the problem. You can resize your columns, and it sounds like yours are resized too big for your screen. Just use the horizontal scroll bar to scroll all the way to the right, so you can see the dividers in the header. Click/drag them back to narrow the columns down. Before doing this, make sure you can see the whole report window by doing a "Window / Cascade".

: : : I know exactly what you are telling me. However if I push the horizontal slide bar as far right as I can (and this is off the screen) the dividers are still not visible. Incidentally, if I attempt to bring the slide bar back (using the < key at the end of the bar) nothing happens - it doesn't return. The corresponding > button on the right is not visible.

: : : I haven't mentioned previously that standard reports off the report menu are OK.

: : : There seems to be a bug - should I make a fresh download of the program?

: : Correction, the slide bar does return using the < button

: Hi Bob,

: Did you do the "Window / Cascade" like I mentioned? The fact that you can scroll the horizontal scroll bar off your screen indicates that your window is bigger than your screen, so you aren't able to move the scroll bar all the way over. You should be able to see the entire scroll bar, with both the left < and right > arrows at each end. If you can't, then your window is bigger than your screen. You can either resize it manually by clicking/dragging an edge, or use one of the Window menu commands, like "Window / Cascade". Once you have the window resized within your screen dimensions you should then be able to scroll around easier, and resize the columns.

: Thanks,

Have now used "Windows/Cascade" and, yes I can now see the entire scroll bar. There is still just the 1st field in view. I have tried dragging the slide bar and using the < and > arrows - and holding them for several seconds - and nothing happens. When I use the slide bar it immediately returns to the left end as soon as I release it. If I try click/drag an edge the right side and > arrow fly off the screen and I must Close All reports to get rid of the report.
I have downloaded again and reinstalled - no change.

This is a pain!

Bob
