well, i have read the tutorial. i have tried it a few times. at this point i can't find the sub directory in the list of portfolios. i did save it when it asked me to.

at this point my response is that this system seems very cumbersome, switching back and forth, back and forth, between portfolios copying and pasting. perhaps 'relative file paths' isn't the most efficient approach. wouldn't absolute paths allow simply dragging the portfolio to a new folder, without need for a special editor, saving as, copying and pasting, opening and closing?

i already have the portfolios, named, with the investments in them. is there not some way to group them under a common heading so that i don't have to see all of them everytime i open other portfolios.
